The Royal Air Force Falcons Parachute Display Team have welcomed new members to the Team for their 2019 Display Season.
Entering the Team this year as display parachutists are Sergeant Brook Stebbings and Sergeant Mike Davies. These two individuals have been specifically selected to join the RAF Falcons and will spend the next three years on the Team.
Ahead of next year, the Falcons will now head off for sunnier climates in the USA for their winter training. This is where they will conduct display leader and advance canopy training in preparation for the new season. This will also be the first time that the two new Team members have an insight to life as an RAF Falcon and will undergo intense training with the rest of the Team to perfect their display parachuting skills ready to impress their fans!
“Watching the RAF Falcons jump into Eastbourne Air Show for many years as a boy, this has been one of my biggest ambitions since joining the RAF. Having worked at Airborne Delivery Wing as an instructor for the last three years, I am very proud to be selected for the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team and cannot wait to represent the RAF in the 2019 display season.”

“After being in the RAF for eight years, I feel privileged to have been offered a position on the RAF Falcons Display team. The next six months training schedule will be very challenging and rewarding, but I am looking forward to the 2019 season, displaying in front of the Great British Public.”
