RAF Akrotiri Football Club have bagged themselves a place in the semi-finals of the RAF Football Cup after they played a victorious game against RAF Northolt, winning with a final score of 3-1. The game took place in the Akrotiri Village Football Stadium and many of the Station’s personnel were present to offer their support to both teams.
“We are absolutely delighted with this result and we go forward to the semi-finals which is an incredible achievement for the team. Full credit must go to RAF Northolt who played their part in a fiercely contested match. We now wait for the draw for the Semi Finals as we eagerly anticipate our return to the UK in our quest to win the RAF Cup this year.”

They are now due to play RAF Odiham in the semi-finals which will take place on 1st April at RAF Odiham. We wish both teams the very best of luck!
