This week, RAF Boulmer hosted our Annual Reception, inviting members of the community whom the Station has close ties with, for an evening in the Officer’s Mess.
Even though the weather did not reflect the nature of the event, Station Commander, Wing Commander Best, was delighted to welcome guests including The Lord Lieutenant for Northumberland, Dr Pryer.
The evening included a performances from the Jayess Newbiggin Brass Band and the RAF Boulmer Military Wives Choir.
Station Commander, Wing Commander Best said:
We hold these events as a thank you to you all and also to bring together key players in our somewhat extended community so that we can forge even stronger connections for the benefit of all.
