Yesterday RAF Brize Norton held their first 'Bake Off' style competition raising money for the Armed Forces Charity Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA).

The cakes and cupcakes, made for the RAF Brize Norton 'Bake Off', were laid out on a table for the judging panel to scrutinise.

The cakes were judged by a team which included the Station Commander, Group Captain Dan James, and Cpl Jason Couch who awarded the winner of Best Design to Victoria Tonkin.

The winner of Best Bake/taste was awarded to Sgt Caroline Pritchard for her carrot cake. The competition raised a total of £247.17 for SSAFA.
