The purpose of the visit was to provide a station overview of key areas such as; the Single Living Accommodation, Air Traffic Control and Postal Room and offered an opportunity for Air Commodore Portlock to meet with station executives across RAF Cosford.
Air Commodore Portlock also took the time to officially open 'RAFAKidz Cosford' Nursery and visit Hangar 1 of The RAF Museum, Midlands to discuss their renovation plans.
