Recently RAF College Cranwell hosted the final of the RAF Equestrian Inter Station League for grassroots riders.
Each team consisted of 4 riders with each competitor required to ride a horse unknown to them. They were then assessed on how well they communicated and managed the horse across 2 disciplines – dressage and jumping. Heats were held across the country throughout the year to earn a place at the finals.
The teams competing were from RAF Odiham, RAF Brize Norton and RAF Waddington/Digby.
The winning team was: RAF Waddington/Digby.
