RAF Halton recently celebrated National Reserves Day, recognising all the RAF Reservists who give up their spare time to serve in the Reserve Forces, both in the UK and on Global Operations.
At RAF Halton, Reservists begin their journey completing a 2-week Basic Recruit Training Course (BRTC), welcoming and equipping them for their next stage of training.
The course offers an in-depth combination of theory work to learn about Defence initiatives, and practical survival skills to prepare them for operational readiness.
This short video follows the process of the RAF Reservists BRTC.
