Another success for Project BLUEPRINT

It is another success for the new RAF Police Knowledge Platform (Project BLUEPRINT) when it was tested at a simulated Road Traffic Incident at RAF Marham.

The Knowledge Platform is one stop shop for documents and aide memoirs which aims streamline processes and provide a paperless digital solution for both law enforcement and security matters.

RAF Police were called to the Road Traffic Incident and worked alongside the RAF Fire Service to bring the situation under control. Utilising the knowledge platform, the RAF Police were able instantly access relevant paperwork, obtain digitally signed witness statements and capture imagery from the scene as evidence. This resulted in significant increases of efficiency for recording of required paperwork, which in turn reduces the stress for any victims.

Project Blueprint delivered by the RAF Police Digitalisation Team is an ASTRA project. The trial of this technology has been so successful, Air Security Force HQ will be rolling this out and is likely to become the normal for the RAF Police over the next 24 months.
